In person:
- Set up 6 tables with large sheets of paper at each table. On each large sheet of paper, write one of the questions from the reflection assignment.
- Divide the participants into 6 groups
- Ask each group to find a table and start to write down their answers to the question on the paper at the table
- After 5-10 minutes, ask the groups to go to the next table and read the previous group’s work and add to it
- Complete 6 times so each group has a chance to share their ideas for each question
- Ask each group to discuss the ideas on the sheet of paper for the final table they are at
Online:
- Create 6 slides with each of the questions from the reflection assignment and space for people to type ideas/answers
- Create 6 breakout groups
- Ask each group to spend 5-10 minutes in each slide answering the question; you can let people know when it’s time to switch by either bringing them back to the large room, broadcasting your voice via Zoom, or broadcasting a message
- Complete 6 times so each group has a chance to share their ideas for each question
- Ask each group to discuss the ideas from the last slide they contributed to
